The amazing thing to me in this Infitada is that I think fewer than 1000 Israelis and fewer than 3000 Palestineans have been killed over the past 2-3 years. We only hear about it incessantly despite the relatively small "body count" compared to, say, the recent civil war in Algeria, or the stuff that goes on constantly in sub Saharan Africa, because it's a full time employment act for foreign reporters, and a full time hobby on the part of every Tom Dick and Harry on the planet who has a bias one way or another to make a big stink over this territorial dispute. Without all the outside interference of all these people sticking their noses in something that doesn't concern them (like all these Europeans who are neither Jewish nor Muslim and have never set foot in the region) it would have quite simply been settled decades ago.
