I find it funny that those who embrace Kerry today were the same people who spit on Vietnam Veterans when they returned from the War.

Kerry will be embraced in the end, as a strong compromise between the pacifist and inexperienced (on military and foreign affairs) Vermonter Dean and the inexperienced (on domestic and DC issues) top warrior Clark. Gephardt's hold on the unions is tenuous too with Kerry picking upa major union endorsement yesterday. But Kerry needs to solidify and straighten out the misconceptions he "waffled" on the war. He never did. In fact, I cornered him the other night to strenuously make that point and he completely agreed. I told him "look at your speeches a year ago, you predicted everything. If Bush had followed your advice. Get that message out". He will.
