Nothing beats DDT for killing Mosquitos. Nothing.

I have found heaven!

It is located between Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint Idaho.

On the second day, I, unexpectedly, ran into a former Delta member at a Lake. A local, he briefed me on the entire area, making a thorough personal recon over the next 8 days easy and fun.

2 lakes the size of and as picturesque as Tahoe; 6+ lb trout; large populations of Deer and Elk; prevalent populations of Moose, Mountain Lions, Bear, Mountain Goats, Bald Eagles, Northern Pike, Quail, Duck, and Geese; affordable housing costs; excellent schools in most areas, very very low crime rate (Most locals do not lock their homes or vehicles.); quite rural with easy city access (Spokane); great skiing and other winter sports; unemployment rate is the same as before the recession (6%); two national manufacturing companies have recently moved in; no bums and no slums (I attribute that to no large state or local giveaway programs and cold winters.); balanced state budget (In fact, they project a state budget surplus this year.); local budgets across the state are all OK (Moody's has a AAA rating on all Idaho school bonds.); moderate summers with low rainfall; cool summer evenings and no mosquitoes.

I spent 10 days in heaven, this trip, and submitted an offer on a summer home... I shall return.
