You are inventing something called Far Eastern culture which you contemptuously characterize as arrogant. 1. What's the relevance of such racist remarks to investment, which is the subject of this thread? 2. What ruling class in the West or East or North or South isn't arrogant? 3. "even handed playing field of trade and commerce." Canada is the leading trading partner of the U.S. The US government constantly throws bombs on this playing field such as special import duties on steel, wheat, lumber, all important exports of Canada. In addition there are embargos on sugar meat and other things. Where is such an even handed playing field in the "West"? 4. To settle on lands where the Arabs lived for more than a thousand years and claim it as one's own --- is that simply the Lord's will, or arrogance?
