Money talks-and The price of land went up since then. We can't buy Iraq the country. 87 billion is a lot of dough, how much oil would it buy? Now that the dirty deed is done. I think the French would be ok if they received some business back from IRAQ. The people in Iraq, its seems to me, just think were after their oil. If it helps our military people defend themselves or (indirectly)keeps them from going back in again at a later date. I'm for it. At this point in time. Don't you now think the Russian's sold Alaska to cheap?
