Interesting Newsweek poll. Of course, this is a very fluid situation, but it looks as if Clark is the new frontrunner, and Dean, Lieberman and Gephardt are particularly hard hit.

Kerry is also hit but he has what it takes to debate Wesley Clark and hold his own on foreign affairs and military issues. None of the others do. Expect Kerry to hang in there and gradually make a move.

I expect Clark to fade a bit in a few weeks and for it to be a four way tie for quite some time. Looks like a Kerry-Clark ticket is a real possibility. Two Silver Stars. I love it.

Remember too, 50% of voters dont even know the candidates yet. They know Hillary Clinton and Gore, but not much about any of the others. Lieberman is well known but not going anywhere. Once we get down to Clark, Kerry, Dean and Gephardt then we can have a real horse race.
