I know. Bushies (and now Deanies too) burying their heads in the sand and trying hard to live in the past when their candidates could do no wrong. Both Bush and Dean have virtually disqualified the, mselves from winning unless opponents screw badly. Bush has lost more than 20% in the polls in the past few months and Dean is bouncing hard off the ceiling and is already yesterday's news.

Clark's entry signals a new race. It changes the dynamics and really hurts any candidate without a strong military background. Also, since he's a southerner he makes Edwards and Graham pretty irrelevant. And Lieberman is so close to Bush on the war that he's disqualified as well.

Bush will make the war his big issue, and only Kerry or Clark can take him on about it. Gephardt is a wild card. I don't think he'll make it but he does have enough union support to keep him in the game. Dean will continue having support for awhile but it will gradually fade, fade, fade as he really has no qualifications to manage the global situation. Since they all pretty much agree on the economy, health care and education, war and foreign affairs will separate the men from the boys.

BTW: I am projecting into the future with this. Current polls won't show this for awhile.
