Not trying, dingbat, DOING. France was right. France has not been right since at least 1939, and that's generous. The Germans proved that when they did their end run around that idiotic "Maginot Line". The French were in great shape to refight WW1. The problem was that the Germans fought WW2. And now we need them. With friends like the French, who needs enemies?
