"And what do I get from you for my trouble? Disgust? Thanks a bunch.

Absolutely. You initially declared his life unsuitable for his chosen profession, with absolutely no basis except that it made you uncomfortable sexually.

After drudging through every defamatory and derogatory chortle availble, you were able to completely disregard all evidence presented. The evidence clearly demonstrated the validity of his position.

"He wants everyone to 1) change their spin to get in step with him and 2) to thank him for the privilege of being in the presence of such nobility, to boot.

Whoa sister. He never declared or stated that he "WANTS" anything from any ONE of you. IT is all YOU and yours and your squirming in your seats that wants somehtin done. He simply made a dang good case for the cause of liberty and it didn't fit comfortably with you. So close your curtains and foggettaboudit.

It never occurs to him that he has some accommodating to do, too, or at least an obligation to listen in good faith to the issues presented by those in the mainstream.

Accommodate who? you and X who are only trying to draw attention to yourselves or some lame obsolete agenda, who?

"Here's a guy who thinks nothing of having the government set up a multi-million, maybe multi-billion dollar bureaucracy just so that he can petition to evade the rules. "

No. Here is a guy who is helping his clients, hurting no one and trying to live according to his conscience and it makes your skin crawl.

"Sounds selfish, self-indulgent, and spoiled to me. "

Well it is what you make of it. The disgusting, self indulgent jeering and houting sounds I have heard have come from his accusers. You and yours have certainly enjoyed your lofty seats and thrown lots of rotten tomatoes. Being hit by a couple does not make him a bad gardner.

With no basis at all for saying so, you with the peanut gallery chris conclude pompously that he simply cannot perform his service any longer. He has absolutely validated the method and integrity of his service. He has already responded to all of your inquiries about how he would operate without conflict of conscience. You have no basis except your own lack of personal integrity for making such a claim.

Baloney!

Definitely.

This article is at least peripherally related to our discussion, and is an actual rather than a hypothetical situation.

OAKLEY, Calif. -- Lisa McClelland says she isn't a racist. She says her campaign for a Caucasian Club at her California high school is a move toward diversity, not bigotry.

She says everyone is invited -- and nobody will be excluded.

McClelland's ethnic background includes American Indian, Hispanic, Dutch, German, Italian and Irish. She says she and her friends feel slighted by other clubs at Freedom High School in Oakley, such as the Black Student Union and the Asian Club.

McClelland says she's collected 245 signatures of support from students, adults and others since announcing her plans three weeks ago.

One person who won't be signing up is Darnell Turner, first vice president of the local chapter of the NAACP. Turner says he thinks the club will create racial tension.
