Well something is seriously wrong if the curriculum doesn't enable students to also do well on the test. I'm not a big fan of multiple choice tests except for mathematics and maybe some physical sciences. Students cannot demonstrate any writing ability on mulitple choice tests. And teachers don't like grading essays..thats too much work. The teachers of yesteryear didn't think it was too much work. Now the curriculum is largely dictated by the liberal NEA who want to make the curriculum a political pulpit under the guise of a curriculum. No wonder the kids can't pass the tests when so much of their time is wasted on liberal political indoctrination like why Johnny has two Daddies.
