The same reason Ben Gurion did not crack down on Zionist terrorism when they were fighting for their own state? That's a bad comparison, actually, since Ben Gurion was actually controlling the terror outifts, whereas Arafat has no control over Hamas, et al. If Arafat used all the power and authority under his control to stop suicide bombings, they would stop either totally or nearly totally. False. Your presumption that the suicide bombings must be stopped is simply a product of your pro-Israeli bias. You want to eliminate the consequences of Israeli brutality (I'm guessing you have no personal stake, but rather you are just a victim of propaganda). Tom
