Threatening to withhold all or part of that chunk of change we hand him every year might go a long way... Every time I think about the two billion a year we hand Egypt I get mad. Why? Are they going to attack Israel if we stop? I assume half the money goes for American goods, and the rest into Swiss Bank Accounts. We are dealing with the country that spawned the "Muslim Brotherhood," the Fountainhead of the Terrorists we are fighting. The hatred for us is in the Middle class there. I would love to read an explanation of our present behavior toward them. I suspect it is State Department inertia. They have been a "Client State" of Foggy Bottom for years.
