Can't say that Karzi isn't a fast learner in he has picked up quickly how CodPiece became a millionaire by confiscating a family's ranch in Arlington Texas to build a baseball stadium at tax payer's expense. And even after having the government confiscate this family's land, they had to take Codpiece and Gang to court to get them to pay a fair price for the land. Bet Karzi at least won't have to be taken to court since their is no law in Afhganistan.---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Housing Plan for Top Aides in Afghanistan Draws Rebuke
By CARLOTTA GALL

ABUL, Afghanistan, Sept. 20 — Outrage over a plan to build high-end residences in central Kabul for government officials is threatening to discredit the 20-month-old administration of President Hamid Karzai.

The accusations come as Mr. Karzai enters the last year of his current term and he prepares for another foreign tour to raise money to rebuild. His government has already been losing support because of perceived injustices and the government's slowness in its reconstruction efforts.

To build the new housing, which would be for Afghan cabinet ministers, government officials and mujahedeen commanders, a crew of 100 armed police officers with bulldozers started demolishing the modest mud-walled houses of about 30 families two weeks ago

""we're less safe than we were before" is a simple fact of life under Bush"

What's your basis for this? If we do get attacked, and it is worse than 9-11-01, then at least you would not look like a total and complete idiot. When you lefty loones present your OPINIONS as FACTS it just shows your lack of understanding of what a fact even is. The FACT that you state your OPINIONS as FACTS is a major reason that I have no respect for your OPINIONS. The other major reason is the name calling you people do against those with opposing views. Both stem from having WEAK and UNSUPPORTABLE positions.

Like saying we are less safe with 2/3 of Al Quida dead or captured and two of their training areas obliterated.

Don't worry though, Bush will protect you too.
