if he is guilty of war crimes so are most of the members of Congress, including several of the leading Democratic candidates for President.

This is where I seem to find myself headed. To me the most important thing is to change the man at the top in the next election. This will at least bring a new paradigm to build towards. But it really doesn't solve the problem unless you go after all the deceivers and deluders who have viciously slanted their arguments to such a degree that it resulted in some commission of an egregious act.

IOW... "We the people" need to clean house, and it feels like we had better start doing it pretty quick. If politicians are lining their pockets by selling out "we the people" then these men need to go straight from their offices into federal prison.

I believe if we overlook destructive actions and toss out pardons, we do "we the people" and our history a great disservice. We cannot let people smile and say they will stop being bad and do things right starting now. No quid pro quo pardons for presidents exiting in disgrace.

Politicians must be made responsible for their actions and accountable to We the People. Anything less, and I'm not sure we really have that country anymore of which we sing praises.

Populism isn't about those low on the food chain wringing out the treasury. It's about all of us caring about the kind of country we live in. And the first line of representation of we the people is our politicians.

If by their actions, they are stomping on American idealism, then there has to be some sort of accounting for those who willfully lead us down ignominious paths. And no more pardons. Accountability.

I feel we have two choices here. We keep on the blinders and be subjegated. Or we all do what we can to become part of this political process and clean house. I'm not saying we all have to be heroes, just willing to stuff envelopes and make phone calls as we sort through it.

I think war crimes charges should
eventually be considered against him.

I assume that comment was made in the heat of the moment, not after rational reflection. It is quite possible to hate a person (though that really says more about you than about him), but if he is guilty of war crimes so are most of the members of Congress, including several of the leading Democratic candidates for President.

No, I think we have been lied to, and a war was started
against Iraq, who did not attack us. We were told that there were many WMD there, and that is another lie.

I think starting a war like he has done is very serious.
Around 300 US troops have been killed, and probably over
a thousand have been injured. Many thousands of Iraqis
have died. We went against the entire world to do this.

If this is not serious enough to think of war crimes, and indictment, I don't know what is.
