"but never completely safe -- you'll always have to have us looking over you !" That is the primary job of the U.S. Government. Not re-distributing wealth as the demos like to do. "and the administration will never declare the US "safe"" Like it was on 9-10-01? Like CanyonDweller, you probably think that 9-11 was no big deal. But it was a big deal, it showed how "unsafe" we are, and it made the war on terrorism a reality (and a necessity). Five, ten, fifteen years down the road we (and the rest of the civilized world) will be considerable safer. The appeasers who think the terrorists have a good excuse for killing innocents are going to have to get used to it. And if your while your party insists the war is wrong, they will never be in power in America. "This President has racked up the largest deficit in the history of our country" So what. All you dems care about is money. Our deficit is smaller in percentage of GDP than it was in the Reagan/Bush years and we got out of that. "cost us more than 3 million jobs" Bush didn't "cost" this loss. The terrorists that you support were the biggest factors. Bush will have it below 6% soon, and you will HAVE to acknowledge that he got the job market (and economy) going. "and sullied our image as an idealistic moral force in world affairs" He means "and got respect back to the U.S. from our enemies, and pissed off Iraq and Saddam Hussein's trading partners". "We will undo the damage he has done" Then we will be attacked again. "and restore the honor and respect that our country deserves around the world." The kind that gets extremist to kill thousands of us? It is only you Clinton lovers and apologists for terrorists that want this. The smart, sane Americans would rather our trained, volunteer fighting men and women brought the fight to them. God bless America for that!
