When people make statements that are stupid or foul I express my opinion that they are stupid or foul. I have never seen any studies that suggests a wood tick behaves in such a manner. Well I know very little about wood ticks. Many rejeks have posted much stupidity for a very long time. Calling stupid stupid is not name calling or abuse. If you have an objection to my assertions, opinions or conclusions, well state them and make your case. Even a lowly wood tick would do no less.
