zogby poll was way outside and at the low of several polls taken in the last week or so...it runs against cnn fox etc polls. I believe the other five or six polls showed Bush at 50% or higher.

First, higher means 51% and 52%. Secondly, Zogby tends to lead the polls. Barring a miracle, I expect Bush's ratings on other polls to drop below 50% in the coming weeks.

Averaging all the polls, as of now, Clark leads slightly over Kerry, Dean and Lieberman with Gephardt a close third. Bush has about a 51% approval rating which has not stopped sliding despite his speech about Iraq. His numbers on Iraq and the economy are both sliding, and I don't see how he can stop them from continuing down. His base support is not the usual 40% but actually lower. A lot of veterans, military voters, women and moderates are fed up with Bush. The dittohead rock solid support is only about 28%.

A strong Dem team could beat Bush 60-40% which would be a landslide. Also, Bush's wild card trick to start another war and steal the election is no longer an option because he's used up all our troops and money in Iraq.
