The war in Vietnam was fought by many people for many different reasons. I believe the majority served a noble cause and some did not. And some people lied. But those who died did not die for a lie. And possibly some who got medals did not deserve them and many who deserved to be honored were not. Throwing the medals away was the same as painting a swastica to many. It was just like yelling nigger to many. And it still is. And for all the stupid offended. Is dictionary.reference.com a racist place because you can look up the word nigger there. And the word is not considered vulgar or obscene.
