When Calif. asked Bush-Cheney for help they said "Sorry, this is just the free market at work and it's your own damn fault for not building 1300 new power powers constructed by Halliburton, Bectel and Duke". Meanwhile, Enron and James Baker's Reliant, as well as El Paso and all the others were part of the Bush campaign's inner circle, the Pioneers, they call themselves. More like the Racketeers.

Ed Gillespie, head of the RNC, was Enron's cheif lobbyist in charge of using 7 million in gouged profits to manage a huge TV disinformation campaign blaming Enron's crimes on Grey Davis. This was with full White House support of course.
