Clark's never held political office. Who knows how he'll hold up in the rough and tumble. If Iraq keeps quagmiring us though, he's a natural pick to get us out, far superior to the other candidates. I think just a little non-idealogical displayed sanity might be enough to usher in an economic recovery as well.
I see Bush as the opposite of the Nixon-Ford-Carter line, Carter being elected as an anti-Nixon reaction, with Bush II being elected as an anti-Clinton reaction with some help from the Supremes. I thought Carter was the worst, till Bush!

What surprises me is this guy's a Democrat. Same party that was trying to disallow overseas military votes in the last election and who cut the military to the bone on the previous democratic administrations.
