I think it was the "Iraqi Council" that we set up Well, yes. Do you think it was their idea? Bad timing. It makes them look like a mouthpiece. We should be giving that council more opportunity to express nationalist sentiment. They also need private investment in the Oil business badly. If it remains Government controlled, as planned, they will have the same problems with it all other ME countries have. They have to retain some degree of control; it would be politically unacceptable to do otherwise. The key is to find a balance point that retains enough control to keep nationalists happy, but still allows the industry to work. Tricky.
