I don't really know what is going on in California. Used to be that illegals would cross the border to pick vegetables and fruit. No Americans wanted those jobs so the "system" worked well. Cheap labor on the backs of Mexican illegals.

I didn't think fast food paid much to begin with. Those jobs usually cater to teens.

Construction jobs are family living wage jobs and should be for legal workers only.

As for the driver's licenses, I don't think that they should be able to get them, unless they say on them that they are temporary licenses for an immigrant, or something like that. They should never be given to illegals. Same with tuition.

The illegal problem in California is getting very complex. The solution IMHO, is to widen the avenue by which immigrants can take the legal way in, and close off the illegal immigration all together. When they are found out, deport them.

But since there are lots of illegals in the country already, some system needs to be set up to process them. Some may be allowed to stay if they meet certain conditions, but many should be deported.

I don't have all the answers to this complex problem. Ahnoold will fix it for you soon.
