Source? According to a University of Illinois survey, 10% of libraries have been visited by federal or local officials "seeking Sept. 11-related information about patron reading habits". Apparently, librarians are under a gag order to not discuss these visits, so details are unobtainable. 10% number may be low (below mentiones 13.8% based on study). Doesn't surprise me with this administration's obsession with secrecy, even when it affects our civil liberties. slate.msn.com
