You might not believe it but you will see 500 Nasdaq and 500 S&P500.

I wonder whats first 500 for the indexes or 500 gold?

I don't know what is going to happen, but as I was told by my mother, "expect the worst and you won't be disappointed."

I agree with John Templeton that "the stock market is broken" and I think that all the signs that have ever worked for contrarians are now in place: renewed speculation, a big surge in margin debt, excessive oftimism by manages, advisors, and investors. P/Es are again way too high, yields too low, and desperate investors are buying back in hoping to recover their losses and pay off their debts.

Also, as we hear over and over, there have never been debt figures and trade imbalances such as now exist.

I tend toward the inflation scenario, since a deflation would be a worse disaster, and the Fed can always make money out of thin air to stop this.
