Interesting email from Kerry campaign about fundraising: Dear -- I’m Bob Farmer and I am the National Treasurer for the John Kerry for President campaign. I’ve previously served as treasurer for Senator John Glenn, Governor Michael Dukakis and President Bill Clinton in their presidential campaigns. I need your help. I believe that this is the most important campaign of our lifetime. I am convinced that we have a very real opportunity to beat George Bush if we nominate the strongest opponent. I’ve known John Kerry for thirty years, and I know that John is the man to beat Bush – because of his foreign policy experience, his record of standing up for average Americans, and because he is a man of character and courage as evidenced by his military record. But first, we have to win the primaries.
