The GOP wants to give money to the corporations and rich. That is a fact. Yet they cant balance budgets because they also want to spend, spend, spend, especially on big military programs, some of which are un-necessary, like Bush's SDI and small nukes programs.

The Baltic Freight Index (BFI), a gauge of shipping rates in the world's busiest shipping ports and therefore, of shipping activity, is hitting new multi-year high levels. At 24671, the index is at its highest level on record (April 1985=1000), indicating that an upturn in global economic activity is underway. The BFI is tightly correlated with major commodity indexes such as the CRB Raw Industrials index.
