I'm not sure the derivation of the belief really matters (and btw, consciencious objection by the time of the Vietnam War did NOT have to have a religious basis), but we're deep enough in hypotheticals that I'm not really interested in pursuing this one. Suffice it to say that in the minds of WhitePower1 and WhitePower2, the mental revulsion of having anything to do with blacks or jews, respectively, brings out a visceral physical reaction which makes them physically ill. Where it comes from we will not inquire further.
