well Bill even though I think Oracle is in a world of hurt for offshoring their market away, the truth is I wouldn't short them now, because the entire market is in rally mode.

But since this market shift has become clear, which I would say was in spring of this year, Oracle stock has done nothing, while companies like Cisco who people thought would never rally again, have outperformed. Remember Cisco has the negative cachet of being an options abuser to deal with where Oracle, with their offshore workforce, only has Larry's million or so grants per year to deal with.

The market is telling you something about enterprise software and if you choose to ignore it, so be it.

Adobe is a good software play which will rally and will benefit from Linux too... rhat a pureplay on Linux, and AMD a linux play on the chip side why don't you do those and stay away from oracle.
