Unfortunately this may be true. Another reason I REALLY don't trust dems. They want to take it away, and there are some (9th District Fed Court) that say we have no right to bear arms. And your afraid of Bush. Weird.

Not really weird. Diane Feinstein said she'd be happy if there wasn't one privately-owned gun in the U.S. (It makes me want to drop her out in the north woods where the only sustenance is a fresh kill.) OK, so she's a blathering fool. At least we recognize her as such.

Ashcroft wants to slowly bleed that right away by starting with the small stuff. Ever been in sales? You get the customer to agree to the small stuff before you close with the biggies. Our generation gives up a little, the next generation gives up more, the next generation gives the government the rifle you passed down to your heirs. That's how it works. We (the people) had better nip it in the bud, or three or four generations from now the government will have its boot on the people's necks and the people will have no weapon with which to shoot that boot off.
