Brian It's not that I'm putting the early church fathers on an equal footing with scripture, not at all. That's just a red herring. Try to answer the question I put to James with regards to Polycarp (a disciple of John) who looked forward to both the resurrection of his flesh and to the future return of Christ.

I simply want to know how he seemed to miss such a momentous event as the return of Christ. The reason that they missed it is because it didn't happen. As far as the timing of Christ's return, I don't know if it will be in my lifetime or not, but it certainly could.

Please show me where the historical evidence is located on the Preterist archive. I didn't see any.
