He didn't warn them because he chose to ignore the warnings from others. I think you give Junior too much credit. He had no critical thinking skills to know when Condi and Cheney and Rummy were telling him stories about how easy it would be, and Karl Rove saying "This could get us a few votes for congress". He looked like a whipped puppy in his last speech since he is starting to figure out that the neocons played him for the fool. I expect him to overcompensate again and lash out at the U.N.
