I was wondering the same thing, and the only thing I could conclude is that his calculation is for the NDX (Nasdaq 100) and TRINQ is for the entire Nasdaq.

I back-checked all the way from May to Dec. 2002, and I only found those three other high readings, and two came just before major lows. The other was just after the Dec. high.

One thing I'd like to point out to top pickers is that there are normally two things we see at a top:

-An intra-day spike high, like Dec. 2
-A pierce or touch of the daily upper Bollinger Band.

We had neither one last week.

I think we still have a higher high yet.
