"Nixon sacrificed his career for his country "

Now you've completely gone round the bend. That's what criminals always say about their exploits, "I did it for my country!".

Nixon had to disclose the tapes to prove his criminal acts, and the intent that went with it. How confused does one have to be to declare Watergate as "fabricated"?

So, Nixon was brought down by Communists now ??

And Clinton "engineered a recession" ? And 9/11?

Wow, these president guys sure are powerful ... all by themselves they'll sacrifice their honor, go down forever in history as a "crook", just to get back at those communists. And they'll tinker with a few controls over there at the Fed, at night when no one's around, and engineer a recession....

That's pretty darn good. So, what's wrong with Junior? Since the communists are gone, can't he wave a magic President wand and make the Democrats go away? What's the deal?

Imagine where we'll be when Bush has waved his magic President wand, and we're all in magical "Bushland", where all hearts are singing, all good patriots are marching, marching, and saluting Lord Bush !

Nixon did not sacrifice his career for his country, he was guilty of felonious offenses and so were his Veep and top staffers. He had to resign or he would have been physically removed from office.

Nixon reminds me a lot of the Bush administration BTW. Since they control congress though they cannot be investigated.
