anybody notice a Bush interview on Fox tonight?

Do the Bush people think all of these celebrity tactics are going to improve their numbers? Seems like it. In just the last 10 days or so we've had Cheney on the sunday shows and Condoleeza Rice on Tony Snow. I'm sure there were others.

some administration officials say they are experiencing the unpleasant sensation of not feeling in control of events. "

Interesting- I had that same feeling the night that we dropped that "shock and awe" campaign on Baghdad, while there were protests all around me and Fox news reporting nearly unanimous support for this war.

<<...the White House goal is to show substantial improvement in Iraq before next fall's re-election campaign....>>

I'm sure our 'humble foreign policy' will help with that <G>. I heard highlights of Bush's talk on NPR and he is not willing to back down and concede we made some mistakes rushing into Iraq the way we did...He seems unwilling to turn over the control of Iraq to The U.N. anytime soon...Many analysts feel we will get little financial and troop support from our major allies...Who's paying for these foreign policy mistakes -- Our U.S. soldiers and their families AND the American tax payers who are getting more and more interested in 'regime change' in Washington...;-)
