Actually James - I believe there is time in heaven.

I do not buy the "Eternal Now" theories that many intellectuals
arrive at through some of the evidentialistic proofs of Thomas Aquinas.

The argument goes like this -
is a God who is not subject to time greater than one who is?
Therefore, our God - being greater than any God's
we could imagine must not be subject to time.

The argument is nothing more than human intellect and foolishness.

The clever use of the word "subject" is what gives the statement
a sense of credibility - something like the word "father" in "Church Fathers" :-)

It is as silly as asking if God can create a rock
so heavy that he can not lift it.

Either way there is something He cannot do - and therefore cannot do all things - and is therefore less than any God that we could imagine being one who could do all things - therefore ......

I believe there is time in heaven because John - who ascended up to receive the Revelation said so:

Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal,
there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

That settles it for me :-)
