Gore messed with his head so bad that he couldn't attend to important details like UBL? He had more than 9 months to do something. You call this "presidential"? Then he had over 2 years to address diplomacy in the middle east. His roadmap is a day late and a dollar short. But what would he have done to combat Al Qaeda sleeper cells? Attack Syria? I do have to say that I'm glad that Bush has done the right thing, finally, and that is to extend an offer to the UN to help in Iraq. I don't know if it was reality making a call or the pressure from the left. But regardless, this was a step in the right direction. Too bad he's been so far off the course of sanity for this long.
