New world economy ready to rock and along with former third world, even the EU can come to the party eventually. The social democrat mentality that grips europe will be hard to overcome. Folks wont change until standard of living begins to be adversely affected. The french summer might be the first sign of that. Germans are afraid of their nazi demons but should recognize that capitalism was not/is not a feature of that period. Folks can be capitalist to the core and not engage in mass murder or war. Somehow the negative view of bush has become the same negative view of the dynamic american economic system. By the way it was national socialist, not national capitalist and the nazis as i recall hated capitalism as much as communism because the search for a better more affluent life leads one away from racial chauvinism. My prediction: Italy will not increase fertility rates until they start providing toilet paper for children in school.

Would you believe all kids have a roll of toilet paper in their back-packs, because the school doesn't provide any?

Pathetic...
