You look for ulterior motives in the fact that the WT let Miniter reply to the charges by Clinton's NSC people. Yeah, it is an approach you would not have seen out of the Times or the Post if the shoe had been on the other foot. Not enough class.

It would have been a class act had the ideological locations been different, that is had the book in question been an attack on the present Bush administration, some members of the administration had written a defense, and then the WashTimes had permitted those Bush critics to have a same day reply. Now that would have been class. This is just ideological favoritism. Well, it's actually hard to call it that since that's what the Washington Times is.
