Agencies arrest four foreign students from Karachi seminary

KARACHI: Intelligence agencies raided a religious seminary in Karachi arrested further four foreign students. The number of arrested foreigners has increased to 21 after new arrests. The students are being interrogated in Karachi, sources said.

Officials of a government agency arrived in Jamia Abu Bakr in Gulshan Iqbal block-v last night. They questioned four Indonesian students David Pintrio, Abdullah, Ilham Sobandi and Anwar Siddiqui and taken those students with them afterwards, the foreign students affairs' incharge of the seminary told on phone.

These students had got admission in the Jamia in July this year, he said. Earlier, six students including an Indonesian were also arrested from Jamia Abu Bakr.
