Steven: Do you have any data supporting that France has invested more in Iraq in the last 12 years than it has taken out? Net profits...

While the American taxpayer paid to keep Saddam contained the French were profiteering away planning for better days ahead with Saddam.

How many French lives have been sacrificed for Iraq? How much French tax money is flowing into Iraq?

When this is all said and done, the USA will be lucky to obtain directly 10% on the dollar invested in liberating and rebuilding Iraq. But hopefully Iraq will be ripe for many countries to invest in and the world will benefit from Iraqi oil being exported in larger quantities.

Our self interest lies not in profiting from business in Iraq, but in the safe export of oil from the Persian Gulf with Iraq giving an increasingly large share.
