The only thing missing from Junior's U.N. speech was the banging of his shoe on the table. Central Texas has some greenery. The 3M company has a plant in a beautiful location here. One thing employees hate is returning to their car after a day's work and realizing that the Texas sun has raised the temperature of the car a bit. Sometimes it is just enough to explode soda cans. 3M decided that they could make reasonable use of the sunshine by heating water in a snakeing series of black pipes. The smart folks raised the pipes ten feet in the air, added backing, and viola! covered parking for all the employees. Only there will be fewer employees as the Bush job recession strikes again as it has done every week for the years since the selection. TP
