Well, these are just some brief recollections of water-cooler chatter overheard during various stints at sandwich shops situated near several district offices of The Agency in and around its areas of operational jurisdiction. Some documentation has come to light via the recent congressional unveiling of Agency files, published as hard-bound copy, working report title: "Generalized Restricted Access to Substantively Secret Information Notation Overview Logs" (GRASSI NOL Act).

I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it all. I'll check my earliest journals for Cuban mutual fund connections.

[I]t takes a simple hedge fund to make a socialist[.]

There's a great deal of insight in that quote, intentional or not. There might be even more if we were to substitute the word(s) "loss," "losing trade," or "bit of bad luck" for "hedge fund"...though it's fine as is.
