OT: I don't believe he was fully hedged either. Back when he was trading just a few thousand shares he often was fully hedged but where did he say he was fully hedged with the large short position he last traded?

Admittedly we don't know for sure but I am willing to extend more credence to anything AD might have posted about his positions than anything that we might speculate about here.

Lets just wait for him to come back and tell us what he has or has not done without making any further assumptions.

That "opportunity cost" amounted to several hundred thousand dollars, if I remember correctly. Hedged or no, that's real money.

There's a lesson in there somewhere.
