I find it funny that the neighboring state sheriffs are all worried about law-abiding, firearms training people keeping concealed weapons in their glove compartments for example, but aren't worried about fellow undercover police officers with weapons concealed in their glove compartments.

Law abiding citizens with firearms training are admirable attributes of both the non-police officer/CCW holder and the undercover police officer. Since police departments do not hire those that score too high on their intelligence tests for fear that those people would be bored in the job and quit, seems to me the non-police officer group might actually be more trustworthy with guns than the police.
