nice info regarding the MRV Italian site...however, it appears CSCO is, well, "kicking MRV's ass" in Italy (i'm sure it's possible MRV got a bone or 2 thrown their way, but will we ever know?): Learn how Cisco Systems, Telecom Italia (Italy's incumbent operator and one of the largest European VOIP providers), and Italtel (Italy's most important telecommunications vendor) successfully merged Telecom Italia's traditional circuit-switched voice network and IP data networks onto an IP backbone using a multiservice VOIP solution - resulting in a 20% reduction in 2003 operating expenses and a projected 60% reduction in 2004 operating expenses.
