mulholland, i understand it perfectly well. what is IRRATIONAL and eminently NAIVE, is the idea that selfishness is not be criticized IN SOME INSTANCES. again, if bush signed into law that 100% of your income was to go to me and i gave him 50% back, would you criticize him for being selfish? my ONLY point was that it is either STUPID or PANDERING to give the elite rich more resources when the nation is in a state of OVERCAPACITY. i don't think it was STUPID, so my choice is PANDERING. i think THAT VIEW is valid. that point doesn't make me a communist or uneducated or ignorant as some misinformed folks would like to believe. is there a such thing as excessive selfishness? will you jump on dahmer's plate if he were alive and hungry? was hitler above reproach in your view? was saddam justified i nhis selfishness and above criticism? gp's mental construct that selfishness CAN BE good, therefore, ALL selfishness IS good is PATENTLY ABSURD! you are defending nonsense you don't even believe in!
