Take a look at who was President while CAFE fuel standards were ignored to benefit the auto and steel unions.

You are so partisan.

Fuel efficiency is more important IMO than Bush's actions on the NSPS. For more reasons than just pollution.

Neither party has the willpower or leadership to convince the American public that we need clean coal plants, we need transmission lines, we need to pay more for electricity to support this, we need to bring the SUV to the junk yard and by a Honda 4 cylinder and we need to live and breath energy conservation for the benefit of future generations.

I do not want to send one more $ than I must to Iran or Saudi Arabia. Plus natural resources must be conserved as they are finite.
