Whether you think that Davis is responsible for California's problems or not, this recall process has been a circus. It has no place in the political arena.

If the people of California are dissatisfied with Davis, or the legislature they can vote them out at the end of their terms.

The recall process is in place to avenge criminal actions. Davis has not committed and crime or fraud.

Californians should definitely revisit their recall process. It's never correct for a small minority of petitioners to effect this kind of havoc. The cost to California is mounting in millions of dollars in direct costs, and ultimatly billions of dollars will be lost in this process. And when you see that one man with the backing of the RNC was able to effect and bankroll this recall, you see it for what it is...pure politics at it's worst.
