I could see Bush dropping below 40% approvals. Just like what happened to Davis. What goes around comes around. A little taste of the GOP's own medicine. Bush's deficits dwarf Davis's. They're 40 times higher than Davis at his worst and 8 times as bad on a per capita basis. And unlike Davis, Bush isn't doing anything about it.

Polls are a snapshot in time, and they do mean a lot. They can be a very accurate tool indeed.
