The US/UN/EU don't have the power to impose any settlement on the Palestinians. Only the Arab world & Iran does.

No viable solution can be imposed on one side: any reasonable endpoint would involves sacrifices on both sides that neither is willing to make. Theoretically, if the US and the Arab world could reach a consensus, something might be done: the Arab world could impose it on the Palestinians and the US could impose it on the Israelis.

Figure the chances....

Interesting angle.. And too many Arabs have an interest in maintaining the conflict, rather than putting an end to it.

One more reason the US has injected troops into the region on such a scale?

The Al Aqsa wall finally collapsed, and Edward Said died. Hmmm. No connection, I suppose. Said died of leukemia.
